Privacy notice

This is a personal portfolio. It has no sign-up, no contact form and no advertising. Analytics only run if you allow them. This page explains what personal data moves when you visit or write to me, in line with Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors in the EU, the GDPR.

What is processed, and why

• Technical data when you visit. Like any website, the server sees your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. The site is hosted by Wix.com, which processes this data to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
• Fonts and images. Fonts load from Google Fonts and images from the Wix media servers. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address. They may be located outside Türkiye.
• Email. If you write to me, I receive your name, email address and whatever you put in the message. I use it only to reply and keep it only as long as the conversation needs it.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a working, secure portfolio and in answering messages you choose to send (KVKK Article 5/2-f, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Analytics and cookies

With your permission, I use Wix Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, how far they scroll and where they get stuck.

• Wix Analytics. With your consent, records page visits in the Wix dashboard.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Counts visits and page views. Cookies: _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation). Records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement as anonymised session replays, with text you type masked. Cookies: _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day), plus Microsoft's own cookies such as MUID.

Analytics cookies are set only after you click Accept in the banner. Essential cookies may be used to deliver the site securely. If you decline, the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

The legal basis is your explicit consent (KVKK Article 5/1, GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Google and Microsoft may process this data outside Türkiye, including in the United States, and accepting includes consent to that transfer.

Feedback and the short survey

At the end of case studies and notes, and in the optional survey, you can rate a page, pick a few answers and leave a written note. None of it asks for your name or email, so please don't include personal details in the note.

• If you accepted analytics, your rating and the options you picked are sent to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity as anonymous events. Written notes are never sent there.
• Your answers may also be saved in this site's database on Wix, where only I can read them. I use them to improve the portfolio and delete them when they're no longer useful.
• If you choose to send a written note by email, it reaches me like any other email.
• Your browser remembers that you rated a page or answered the survey (in local storage, not a cookie), so you aren't asked again.

The legal basis is your consent, given by sending the answers (KVKK Article 5/1, GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Your rights

You can ask whether I hold data about you, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use (KVKK Article 11, GDPR Articles 15 to 21). Email me and I'll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Türkiye or to the supervisory authority in your EU country.
